Eli Fathi has founded or co-founded companies that currently employ over 400 people and have generated over $500 million in salaries and net benefits to the economy.
Today, Eli is the CEO of MindBridge, a data analytics company that uses AI and machine learning technologies to uncover material irregularities in data. Eli is a serial entrepreneur with several successful exits in launching innovative technology companies in North America that serve a global customer base.
Eli is also civic leader and key influencer in Canada’s tech community, having served on a number of diverse not-for-profit board of directors.
SN: What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
EF: The freedom to be able to chart your own destiny.
SN: What is the biggest lesson you have learned to date?
EF: That success does not come in straight line and there are challenges along the way that you need to overcome.
SN: What advice do you have to those starting up today?
EF: Be persistent, set up your goals, work hard towards them, and do not pay attention to naysayers. Focus on your goals and objectives.
SN: What is your vision for the next 150 years?
EF: We should promote the practice of capitalism with a heart and not forget about the less fortunate in the community.
SN: What is your message to the world?
EF: I want the world to embrace innovation, which will create commerce around the world and will also uplift developing countries.

EF: Startup Canada is an incredible organisation which is building an environment for entrepreneurial momentum and success in Canada. It is promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.
